revelation number 5

i feel so much better, happier, respected, appreciated... when my name is used to attract my attention or open a conversation or an expression of gratitude. best not to come at me all of a sudden in the middle of a conversation already. start it up first, politely, with my name.

there's something important and special about personalising a message. even if it's just a simple hello.

beetroot curry

you can't really gain a sense of the delicious pinkness of this dish, but it was delicious nonetheless. rather ingenous me thinks. might give it a bash myself

a sunday in the city

strange man trying to loosen himself from chains...
he succeeded, but it was mighty painful to watch.
i guess he got himself out of all that tatt.
at least that's what i think the faint awkward applause meant.
i was forced to leave before the successful end of his lengthened process of liberation for fear of catching disease embarrassing.

revelation number 4

a compliment or piece of praise should never ever ever be polluted by any kind of negative feedback or constructive comment in the same breathe, sentence or utterance.

just simply praise or compliment, smile and walk away. the message is far more powerful and meaningful this way.

conversely, negative feedback or constructive commentary should always be buffered by a piece of praise or compliment.

furry

on a cool winter evening we hopped on a boat and toured around melbourne port for josie's 40th birthday celebrations. quite a generous present to herself, hiring an entire boat and filling it with her beloved's, feeding and entertaining them with elvis impersonator's and beautiful belly dancer's.
a magical welcome to my new home. my new city. my new life.

thank you josie. happy birthday

the theme was... russian winterland.

PETA clearly not welcome aboard

revelation number 3

ok.
adding cocunut oil in your hair for that added sheen and moisture is all well and good so long as you prance far enough away from the fine line of gleam rather than grease.
